Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Voice Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining voice communication systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. Key Responsibilities:

- Voice System Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and implement VoIP and telephony solutions, ensuring they meet organizational requirements and industry best practices.

- Network Management: Collaborate with network teams to ensure the seamless integration of voice services with existing infrastructure, optimizing bandwidth and improving quality of service (QoS).

- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for voice systems, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to ensure minimal downtime.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor voice systems for performance and reliability, utilizing tools and metrics to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact users.

- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for voice systems, including designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and external vendors, to ensure the successful deployment and support of voice solutions.

- Training & Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and IT staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge in voice technologies.

- Research & Development: Stay current with emerging voice technologies and trends, evaluating new solutions that can be integrated into the existing system to enhance functionality and performance.

- Compliance: Ensure all voice systems comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in voice engineering or a similar role, with a strong focus on VoIP technologies and telephony systems.

- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, etc.) and telephony systems.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Avaya, or similar platforms.
- Experience with voice gateways, session border controllers (SBCs), and Quality of Service (QoS) configurations.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, subnets) and network troubleshooting tools.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration, Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist, or equivalent are highly desirable.

- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
