We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Desk Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer goods and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the service desk team
- Develop and implement service desk policies and procedures
- Monitor service desk performance and ensure targets are met
- Provide technical support and guidance to service desk staff
- Handle complex customer escalations and complaints
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to service desk staff
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in service desk management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in service desk management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of consumer goods industry is preferred
- ITIL certification is a plus
