We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Desk Technician to join our team in Dubai within the Education sector. The Service Desk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users in a fast-paced and dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve technical support requests from faculty, staff, and students in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for classrooms and events
- Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications
- Maintain accurate records of all technical support requests and resolutions
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and support IT projects and initiatives
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices in IT support
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- [X] years of experience in a technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus
