Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and innovative Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in the consumer goods sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software development principles and demonstrate a passion for creating high-quality applications that enhance our product offerings and improve customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and systems that meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and marketing to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues through thorough analysis and debugging.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team. Suggest improvements to existing processes and software tools.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, development processes, and application functionalities for future reference and team onboarding.
- User Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications, addressing user feedback and making necessary updates or enhancements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in software development, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, .NET, or Java Spring).
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in e-commerce platforms or applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Previous experience in consumer goods or retail sectors is a plus.
