Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Social Worker Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will provide support and assistance to our Substance Abuse Social Workers in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Substance Abuse Social Workers in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for individuals struggling with substance abuse issues.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to clients in a nonjudgmental and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Assist in facilitating group therapy sessions and educational workshops on substance abuse prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with confidentiality laws and regulations.
- Coordinate referrals to community resources and support services for clients as needed.
- Participate in regular supervision and training to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of substance abuse treatment.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a social work or counseling role, preferably in a substance abuse treatment setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to substance abuse treatment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.
