We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Technician to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The Substance Abuse Technician will work under the supervision of healthcare professionals to provide support and assistance to individuals struggling with substance abuse issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of treatment plans for individuals with substance abuse disorders
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their recovery journey
- Conduct intake assessments and screenings to determine the severity of substance abuse issues
- Monitor and document patient progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on substance abuse prevention
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in distress
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- At least 2-4 years of experience working in a healthcare setting with individuals with substance abuse disorders
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for substance abuse
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards individuals struggling with substance abuse
