Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to oversee and expand our financial services operations in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales, building relationships with clients, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional financial products and services in the region. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the financial services landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth in the designated territory.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to foster client engagement.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our offerings.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management to provide insights into business performance.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Work closely with compliance teams to mitigate risks associated with financial services.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes. Provide training and support to team members on financial products and services.
- Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company’s presence and reputation in the financial services sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) is a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or territory management within the financial services industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and develop actionable strategies.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial products and services, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks in the UAE.
- Personal Attributes: A proactive self-starter with strong negotiation skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
