Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, focusing on the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic engineering and transportation planning, with a specific interest in optimizing logistics and supply chain processes to support pharmaceutical operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and efficiency of transportation systems within the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Traffic Analysis: Conduct detailed traffic studies and analyses to assess the impact of pharmaceutical facility operations on local traffic patterns and roadway capacity.

- Design and Planning: Develop traffic management plans and strategies that enhance the flow of goods and minimize disruptions during peak operational periods. This includes designing access points, loading zones, and circulation patterns for vehicles.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, supply chain, and production to ensure optimized traffic flow and timely delivery of products.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all traffic engineering designs and plans comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices specific to the pharmaceutical industry.

- Data Management: Collect and analyze traffic data to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize traffic simulation software to model potential scenarios and outcomes.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with local authorities, community stakeholders, and other relevant parties to address traffic-related concerns and promote safe and efficient transportation systems.

- Project Management: Assist in managing traffic engineering projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in traffic engineering, with a focus on logistics and transportation systems in the pharmaceutical or related industries.
- Proficient in traffic analysis software (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM, HCS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of local traffic regulations and standards applicable to the UAE.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
