### Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Operations Manager to lead our transportation and logistics operations within the consumer goods sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation management, logistics coordination, and supply chain operations, with a proven ability to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

### Key Responsibilities
- Transportation Strategy Development: Develop and implement transportation strategies that align with overall supply chain goals and objectives, ensuring efficient delivery of consumer goods to customers.

- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day transportation operations, including route planning, load optimization, carrier management, and fleet operations. Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with local regulations.

- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure transportation efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze performance data and implement improvements as needed to achieve operational excellence.

- Budget Management: Oversee the transportation budget, including forecasting, cost control, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Prepare regular reports on transportation expenditures and performance metrics.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of transportation coordinators and logistics personnel. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the team.

- Supplier and Carrier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and logistics partners. Negotiate contracts and service agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.

- Technology Implementation: Leverage transportation management systems (TMS) and other technologies to enhance visibility, tracking, and reporting capabilities within the transportation network.

- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve transportation-related issues, including delays, damages, and service discrepancies. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and warehousing teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment across the supply chain.

### Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and best practices in logistics.
- Proven experience in managing transportation budgets and optimizing costs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
