Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Loader Assistant to join our dynamic team in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of materials and equipment onto and from trucks in a safe and timely manner. The Truck Loader Assistant will work closely with the logistics team to support the operations of our energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the safe and efficient loading and unloading of equipment, materials, and supplies onto trucks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with truck drivers and other team members to ensure accurate loading and transportation of goods to designated locations.
- Perform routine inspections of loading equipment and materials to ensure they are in good condition and ready for transport.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to secure loads and prevent shifting during transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading area, ensuring that all tools and materials are stored properly after use.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in inventory management by keeping track of materials loaded, unloaded, and stored.
- Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required.
- Support other logistics and warehouse operations as needed, including but not limited to inventory counts and stock replenishment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a loading/unloading or warehouse environment, preferably within the energy sector.
- Familiarity with safety practices and protocols related to loading and transport.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
