Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our retail team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare and will be responsible for providing exceptional veterinary care and advice to pet owners. This role will involve working in a dynamic retail environment, assisting customers with their pet health needs, and promoting our range of pet products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality veterinary care to pets, including examinations, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
- Perform routine surgical procedures as required and ensure proper post-operative care.
- Conduct health consultations and advise pet owners on proper nutrition, preventive care, and general pet health.
- Collaborate with retail staff to educate customers about pet care products and services.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate findings and treatment plans to pet owners.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
- Stay current with veterinary practices, emerging trends, and advancements in pet health and wellness.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards related to veterinary practice.
- Assist in managing the retail space, including inventory management of pet health products and supplies.

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in veterinary practice, preferably in a retail or outpatient setting.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing the best care possible.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
