### Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Weather Forecaster to join our dynamic team in the Transportation and Logistics department. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of meteorological principles and have the ability to analyze weather data to provide accurate forecasts that directly impact our logistics operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of transportation services in and around Dubai.

### Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze meteorological data from various sources, including satellite imagery, radar, and weather stations, to produce accurate and timely forecasts.
- Develop short-term and long-term weather forecasts, focusing on their implications for transportation and logistics operations.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to provide weather-related advice and recommendations that ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods.
- Monitor weather patterns and trends that may affect transportation routes, schedules, and safety.
- Prepare and present weather briefings to stakeholders, including logistics managers and drivers, to communicate potential weather impacts.
- Use advanced weather modeling software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Stay updated on advancements in meteorology and transportation logistics to apply best practices in weather forecasting.
- Document and report significant weather events and their effects on transportation operations, providing feedback for future improvements.
- Respond to urgent weather-related inquiries and provide immediate forecasts during critical situations.

### Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in weather forecasting, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Proficiency in using meteorological software and tools for weather analysis and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of regional weather patterns and climate conditions, particularly in the Middle East.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to time-sensitive situations.
- Strong teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration across departments.

### Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from a recognized meteorological organization.
- Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and its application in weather forecasting.
- Familiarity with logistics and transportation operations, including supply chain management principles.

### Work Environment:
This position will be based in Dubai, where the weather can be extreme and variable. Candidates should be prepared to work in an office setting, but also be willing to engage in fieldwork for data collection and verification when necessary. Occasional travel may be required for stakeholder meetings or site assessments.
