Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team in the Consumer Goods sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web development and a strong understanding of user experience principles. You will play a critical role in creating and maintaining our online presence, enhancing our e-commerce platform, and ensuring an engaging user experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications that meet the needs of our customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and marketing teams to create user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement and manage content management systems (CMS) to facilitate easy updates and changes to website content.
- Ensure website functionality across various devices and browsers, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Stay updated on emerging web technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into projects.
- Conduct website testing and quality assurance to ensure high performance and user satisfaction.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of SEO strategies to improve website visibility and traffic.
- Monitor website analytics and generate reports to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in web development, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and popular frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Experience with back-end programming languages (PHP, Node.js, or Python) and database management (MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, Shopify, etc.) and e-commerce platforms.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in Arabic being a plus.
