We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Wind Turbine Technician Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will assist the Wind Turbine Technicians in performing maintenance and repair tasks on wind turbines to ensure they are operating at peak efficiency. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Wind Turbine Technicians with routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machinery
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on wind turbines
- Perform inspections on wind turbine components to identify any potential problems
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and upgrades on wind turbines
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with mechanical or electrical systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certification in a related field
- Previous experience working in the renewable energy industry
