Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our dynamic team in the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of windows in various healthcare facilities, ensuring that all installations meet safety standards, energy efficiency requirements, and aesthetic guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installation of Windows: Accurately measure and install various types of windows including double-glazed, tempered, and specialty windows in accordance with industry standards and building codes.

- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing areas of debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed. This includes assessing the condition of existing structures and making necessary repairs prior to installation.

- Technical Skills: Utilize tools and equipment such as drills, saws, levels, and other hand tools to ensure precision in installations.

- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of installed windows to confirm they are securely fitted and function correctly while identifying any potential issues and rectifying them promptly.

- Collaboration: Work closely with construction teams, architects, and healthcare facility management to ensure that the installed windows meet specific requirements and timelines.

- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the installation process.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all installations, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.

- Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others, particularly in sensitive healthcare settings.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certifications in carpentry or construction preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in window installation or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools associated with window installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
