Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team in Ras Al Khaimah. This position plays a crucial role in managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to our vendors while maintaining financial integrity and compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review all incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies before approval for payment.
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors, maintaining positive relationships through effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and resolve payment inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts payable reports, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary documentation and approvals for invoice processing.
- Support the annual audit process by providing required documentation and assisting auditors as needed.
- Stay current with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and improve accounts payable processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounts payable function and implement changes as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role, preferably in the retail industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
