Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airline Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our airline operations related to the transportation of pharmaceutical products. This role is critical to ensuring that our logistics and supply chain processes meet the stringent regulatory requirements and high standards of quality and safety associated with the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will manage a team of professionals, coordinate with various stakeholders, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight:
- Manage day-to-day airline operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards specific to the transportation of pharmaceutical products.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize capacity and efficiency while minimizing costs.

2. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all operations comply with local and international regulations governing the transportation of pharmaceuticals, including temperature control, handling, and documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.

3. Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are knowledgeable about compliance, safety, and operational procedures.

4. Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal departments, including logistics, quality assurance, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
- Liaise with external partners, including airlines, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies, to secure timely and compliant transportation of pharmaceutical products.

5. Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor operational performance metrics and KPIs, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior management.

6. Crisis Management:
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain, including delays, regulatory issues, or logistics challenges.
- Act as the point of contact for crisis management during operational disruptions.

7. Budget Management:
- Assist in the development and management of the annual operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in airline operations management, with a focus on pharmaceutical logistics preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to the transportation of pharmaceuticals.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics and operations management software.
