Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Art Therapist to join our innovative team in the telecommunications sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of therapeutic skills and creativity, utilizing art as a means to enhance the mental and emotional well-being of employees within a corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Therapeutic Art Sessions: Conduct individual and group art therapy sessions for employees, focusing on stress reduction, emotional expression, and personal development. Tailor sessions to address specific workplace challenges and enhance team dynamics.

- Assessment and Evaluation: Assess the psychological and emotional needs of participants to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize art-based assessments to gauge progress and adapt interventions as necessary.

- Workshops and Training: Design and implement workshops that promote mental health awareness and the benefits of creative expression in the workplace. Provide training to management on recognizing signs of stress and the importance of mental well-being.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with HR and wellness teams to integrate art therapy into existing employee assistance programs. Work alongside mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to employee well-being.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans while adhering to ethical and confidentiality standards.

- Community Engagement: Organize community outreach programs that promote mental health awareness through art initiatives, showcasing the therapeutic benefits of creative expression.

- Continuous Development: Stay updated on the latest research and trends in art therapy and mental health, participating in professional development opportunities and networking with other professionals in the field.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Art Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in art therapy or related fields, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting.
- Certification or accreditation from a recognized art therapy association is highly desirable.
- Proficient in various art mediums and techniques, with the ability to adapt to different artistic expressions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse groups.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and creativity.
- Knowledge of mental health issues and therapeutic interventions is essential.
