Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support our healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and enhancing operational efficiency. This position requires a keen understanding of healthcare systems and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Support: Assist the Operations Manager in the day-to-day management of healthcare operations, including patient flow, staffing, and resource allocation. Monitor and report on operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

- Team Leadership: Collaborate with department heads to coordinate activities and ensure all teams are aligned with the organization’s goals. Provide guidance, training, and support to staff to enhance their performance and professional development.

- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all operational processes comply with local healthcare regulations and standards. Participate in quality assurance initiatives to maintain and improve the quality of patient care and operational efficiency.

- Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and financial planning by analyzing operational costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Monitor expenditures and assist in financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility.

- Patient Experience: Advocate for patient satisfaction by ensuring that high standards of care and service are maintained. Gather patient feedback and work with the team to implement improvements based on their insights.

- Project Management: Support the implementation of new initiatives and projects aimed at improving operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and make informed decisions. Prepare reports for management that outline operational performance, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

- Crisis Management: Assist in developing and implementing crisis management protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff during emergencies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in healthcare operations management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of healthcare policies, regulations, and standards in the UAE.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams and driving performance improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software.
