We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Researcher to join our team in Dubai. As an Assistant Researcher in Agriculture, you will work closely with our research team to conduct field experiments, collect and analyze data, and assist in the development of innovative agricultural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and maintaining field experiments, including planting, watering, and harvesting crops
- Collect and record data on plant growth, crop yields, and pest/disease resistance
- Conduct statistical analysis of data using software such as Excel or SPSS
- Assist in writing research reports, papers, and presentations
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in agricultural research and technology
- Collaborate with team members on research projects and contribute to team meetings and discussions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, or related field
- Strong understanding of agricultural principles and practices
- Experience working in a research setting is preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel or SPSS
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the local agricultural industry in Dubai is a plus
