Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Researcher to join our dynamic team in the Retail sector. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the retail sector.
- Assist in designing and implementing research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings and providing actionable insights to inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives, ensuring research aligns with business objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retail industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance research capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and project plans, outlining objectives, methodologies, and timelines.
- Assist in the management of databases and research tools, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions to generate innovative research ideas.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in research, preferably within the retail sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R) and visual presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and distill it into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of retail market dynamics and consumer behavior is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective working relationships.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with qualitative research methods and tools.
- Experience in using online survey platforms (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics).
- Understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce trends.
