We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Underwriter to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwriting within the transportation and logistics industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing and evaluating insurance applications for transportation and logistics risks
- Assist in determining appropriate coverage and pricing for policies
- Collaborate with underwriters to assess risk and make recommendations
- Review and analyze policy documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines
- Assist in preparing quotes and proposals for clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations
- Provide support to underwriters and other team members as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field
- [X] years of experience in underwriting within the transportation and logistics industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of insurance principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
