Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient and effective management of materials, equipment, and inventory within a construction environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Warehouse Manager in managing all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels, timely reordering, and proper storage of materials.
- Coordinate and supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and support to foster a productive and safe working environment.
- Implement and enforce safety standards and protocols in compliance with local regulations and company policies to ensure the health and safety of all warehouse personnel.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to plan and execute the timely delivery of materials to various job sites.
- Monitor the performance of warehouse operations and identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and materials received, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools.
- Prepare reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and operational efficiency for senior management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures to improve workflow and establish best practices.
- Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
