Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Biophysicist to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in biophysics and a passion for applying scientific principles to the development and optimization of biological products. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and experiments to understand the physical principles underlying biological systems, including molecular interactions, protein folding, and biomolecular dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, engineers, and product developers, to design and optimize manufacturing processes for biological products.
- Apply advanced biophysical techniques such as spectroscopy, microscopy, and calorimetry to analyze and characterize biological materials.
- Develop and implement quality control protocols to ensure the integrity and efficacy of manufactured products.
- Analyze experimental data using statistical tools and software, presenting findings to stakeholders through comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Stay current with advancements in biophysics and related fields by reviewing literature, attending conferences, and participating in professional networks.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff and interns in biophysical techniques and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the laboratory and manufacturing settings.

Qualifications:

- A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in a research or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or similar).
- Experience with biophysical characterization methods and laboratory instrumentation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex scientific concepts to non-specialist audiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality assurance processes.
- Experience in product development and process optimization in a manufacturing context.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to biopharmaceutical products.
