Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Budget Coordinator Assistant to join our Financial Services team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will support the budgeting process, assist with financial analysis, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Collaborate with various departments to collect and analyze budgetary information.
- Prepare budget variance reports, highlighting key discrepancies and trends.
- Assist in the development of budget models and financial planning tools.
- Coordinate with external auditors during budget reviews and provide necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of budgetary expenditures and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Support the Budget Coordinator in the presentation of financial information to management and stakeholders.
- Conduct research and provide analysis on industry trends and economic factors that may impact budgeting decisions.
- Facilitate budget meetings and ensure proper documentation of discussions and outcomes.
- Help in the training of new employees on budget processes and financial tools.
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Budget Coordinator or management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or a related area within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software; experience with budgeting software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and establish productive working relationships across departments.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the financial services industry in the UAE.
