Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead our information security efforts in our manufacturing organization based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, risk management, and compliance, with a proven ability to develop and implement security strategies that protect our organization's assets and data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, particularly in the manufacturing sector.

- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks and vulnerabilities within the organization. Develop risk mitigation strategies to protect sensitive data and industrial control systems.

- Policy Development: Establish and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.

- Incident Response: Lead the development and implementation of an incident response plan, ensuring timely and effective responses to security breaches or incidents in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

- Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing information security team, providing mentorship and guidance to enhance their skills and capabilities.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executive leadership, IT, legal, compliance, and other departments to ensure a unified approach to information security across the organization.

- Security Awareness Training: Design and implement security awareness programs for employees to foster a culture of security consciousness and compliance throughout the organization.

- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and other industry-specific requirements.

- Security Architecture: Oversee the design and implementation of security architecture and controls to protect manufacturing systems, operational technology, and sensitive data.

- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party security vendors and service providers to ensure the effectiveness of security solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations relevant to the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with risk management and incident response planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in managing and leading information security teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
