Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consumer Credit Counselor to join our team in the telecommunications sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer credit, financial counseling, and the telecommunications industry, with a proven track record of helping clients manage their credit effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling to clients seeking assistance with debt management, credit issues, and financial planning. Assess clients' financial situations and develop personalized action plans.

- Education and Resources: Educate clients on credit management, budgeting, and financial literacy. Offer resources and tools to help clients improve their credit scores and manage their debts effectively.

- Financial Analysis: Analyze clients' financial documents, including credit reports, bank statements, and income statements, to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance their financial health.

- Debt Management Plans: Assist clients in creating and implementing debt management plans, including negotiating with creditors and financial institutions to secure favorable repayment terms.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all counseling practices comply with local regulations and industry standards, maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions with clients.

- Follow-Up Support: Provide ongoing support and follow-up with clients to monitor progress, adjust financial plans as necessary, and ensure they remain on track to meet their financial goals.

- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes. Prepare reports and documentation as required to track the effectiveness of counseling services.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as customer service and collections, to ensure a holistic approach to client financial wellness.

- Market Awareness: Stay informed about changes in consumer credit laws, regulations, and industry trends, as well as the telecommunications market, to provide clients with current and relevant advice.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in consumer credit counseling, financial advising, or a related field within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of credit reporting systems, debt management strategies, and financial planning techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations governing consumer credit and debt management in the UAE.
- Certification as a Credit Counselor or similar credential is preferred.
