Job Summary:

As the Director of Finance, you will play a critical leadership role in our organization, overseeing all financial operations within the agriculture sector. This position requires a strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. You will work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies that support the organization's growth and sustainability objectives in the agricultural domain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Strategy Development: Formulate and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives, particularly in the agriculture sector.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, ensuring accurate financial forecasts that reflect operational needs and market conditions. Monitor and report on budget performance and variances.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.

- Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure the organization is compliant with all financial regulations and industry standards.

- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the organization has adequate liquidity to meet operational needs. Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital.

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Build and maintain relationships that support the organization's financial objectives.

- Performance Analysis: Analyze financial performance and operational efficiency, providing insights and recommendations to enhance profitability and cost-effectiveness.

- Investment Management: Evaluate and manage investment opportunities within the agriculture sector, assessing their potential financial impact and alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within the agriculture industry or a related field.

- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements in the UAE.

- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.

- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
