We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Environmental Health Manager to join our team in Sharjah within the Energy sector. The Environmental Health Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of environmental health and safety within the organization, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing health and safety programs
- Provide training to staff on proper safety protocols and procedures
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental health laws and regulations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in environmental health and safety
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental health and safety management
- Knowledge of local and international environmental health regulations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in environmental health and safety is a plus
