Introduction:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. This role is essential in supporting the Family Nurse Practitioners in delivering high-quality care to patients, particularly within the educational sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting health and wellness in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Family Nurse Practitioners in providing comprehensive patient care, including conducting physical assessments, documenting patient histories, and performing basic diagnostic tests.
- Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans based on patient assessments and needs.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for students and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Participate in health promotion activities, including workshops and seminars, within the educational institution.
- Assist in managing patient flow and scheduling appointments to optimize clinic operations.
- Stay current with medical and nursing best practices through continuous education and professional development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license to practice in the UAE.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical or educational healthcare setting.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner Assistant or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and staff.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of current healthcare trends and practices, particularly in family medicine and pediatrics.
