Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planner to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial planning within the Information Technology sector, demonstrating an ability to provide strategic financial insights and solutions that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations.

- Investment Strategy Development:
Collaborate with IT leadership to develop and implement investment strategies that align with the company’s financial goals. Evaluate potential investment opportunities and provide recommendations based on thorough analysis.

- Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and manage financial risks associated with IT investments and projects. Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.

- Budget Management:
Oversee the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and realistic financial planning. Monitor budget performance and provide insights to ensure adherence to financial targets.

- Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as a financial liaison between IT teams, executive management, and external stakeholders. Effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial personnel to facilitate informed decision-making.

- Financial Software Proficiency:
Utilize advanced financial software and tools to streamline financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance data analysis capabilities.

- Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial planning and analysis functions. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA) is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of experience in financial planning, preferably within the Information Technology sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing financial projects and enhancing financial performance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques, as well as advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards within the UAE.
