We are seeking a talented and experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our healthcare facility in Dubai. The Fire Protection Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire protection systems to ensure the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Design fire protection systems, including fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and smoke control systems, in compliance with local fire codes and regulations
- Conduct site surveys and risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that fire protection systems are integrated seamlessly into the building design
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of fire protection systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct fire drills to ensure that staff are prepared to respond effectively in the event of a fire
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in fire protection technology and regulations to ensure that our facility is compliant with industry best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field
- [X] years of experience in designing and implementing fire protection systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Knowledge of local fire codes and regulations in Dubai
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize tasks
