### Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our dynamic team in the energy sector based in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems within our facilities and projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of fire protection engineering principles, codes, and standards, along with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Fire Protection Design: Develop and prepare fire protection system designs, including fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and other life safety systems, in accordance with local and international codes and standards.

- Risk Assessment: Conduct fire risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential fire hazards and evaluate the effectiveness of existing fire protection systems.

- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all fire protection designs and installations comply with local regulations, industry standards (such as NFPA, IFC), and company policies.

- Coordination: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate fire protection systems into overall project designs and plans.

- Site Inspections: Perform on-site inspections of fire protection systems to verify compliance with design specifications and applicable codes, and provide recommendations for improvements or modifications.

- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and documentation for fire protection systems, including calculations, drawings, and maintenance manuals.

- Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to staff and contractors on fire protection systems and procedures.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with advancements in fire protection technology and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of fire safety standards within the organization.

### Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in fire protection engineering, preferably in the energy sector.

- Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards (NFPA, IFC, etc.).

- Proficiency in fire protection design software and tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Certification as a Fire Protection Engineer (CFPE) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
