### Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Fish Hatchery Manager Assistant to join our innovative aquaculture team based in Abu Dhabi. As the Fish Hatchery Manager Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Fish Hatchery Manager in the daily operations of our state-of-the-art hatchery facility, ensuring the healthy growth and sustainability of fish species in our aquaculture projects. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about sustainable fisheries and aquaculture who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the daily management and operation of the fish hatchery, including monitoring water quality, fish health, and feeding schedules.
- Support the Fish Hatchery Manager in implementing best practices for breeding, hatching, and rearing of fish species.
- Conduct regular inspections of hatchery systems and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of fish stock, breeding cycles, feeding schedules, and water quality parameters.
- Monitor and report on fish health, growth rates, and any signs of disease or distress.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance protocols for hatchery equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with the team to conduct research and development projects aimed at improving hatchery practices and increasing fish production efficiency.
- Participate in training programs for new staff and interns in hatchery operations and aquaculture practices.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to hatchery performance and sustainability initiatives.
- Engage in community outreach and educational activities to promote awareness of aquaculture and sustainable fishing practices.

### Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in fish hatchery operations or aquaculture management.
- Strong understanding of fish biology, breeding practices, and water quality management.
- Familiarity with aquaculture equipment and hatchery systems is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic are desirable.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies as needed.
