Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Fitness Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting health and wellness within our facility, supporting clients in achieving their fitness goals, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and implementation of personalized fitness programs for clients, tailored to their individual health needs and fitness levels.
- Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to clients during workouts, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness environment, including regular inspections of equipment and facilities.
- Educate clients on the importance of physical fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness, fostering a holistic approach to health.
- Engage with clients to motivate and encourage them throughout their fitness journey, providing positive reinforcement and accountability.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists and nutritionists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
- Assist in organizing and conducting fitness classes, workshops, and community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress, attendance, and feedback, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay informed about the latest fitness trends, techniques, and best practices, participating in ongoing professional development as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fitness or health-related role.
- Valid fitness certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, nutrition principles, and fitness assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using fitness equipment and technology, including fitness tracking software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
