Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Game Developer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in the consumer goods sector. As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive gaming experiences that align with our brand's vision and goals. Your creativity and technical expertise will play a pivotal role in developing games that enhance our consumer engagement and brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

- Game Design & Development: Design, develop, and implement high-quality games that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with company branding and marketing strategies.

- Collaboration: Work closely with artists, designers, and product managers to brainstorm and conceptualize game ideas, mechanics, and features that resonate with our target audience.

- Programming: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using programming languages such as C#, C++, or JavaScript. Experience with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine is essential.

- Testing & Debugging: Test and debug games to ensure optimal performance and a seamless user experience. Incorporate feedback from playtests and make iterative improvements.

- User Experience: Implement user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) best practices to create a captivating and intuitive gameplay experience.

- Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and consumer preferences in gaming and entertainment. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new game concepts.

- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of game development milestones and alignment with project goals.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for game designs, technical specifications, and development processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in game development, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Proficiency in game development tools and software, particularly Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Strong programming skills in C#, C++, or JavaScript, with a solid understanding of game physics and mathematics.
- Experience with 2D/3D graphics and animation is a plus.
- Knowledge of consumer goods industry trends and an understanding of how gaming can enhance customer engagement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
