We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Home Worker to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The Group Home Worker will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals living in a group home setting. This position requires a caring and patient individual who is committed to helping others improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support and assistance to residents in areas such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the residents and their support team
- Monitor and document residents' progress and behaviors, and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Facilitate social activities and outings to promote socialization and community integration
- Assist residents with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for residents, following all health and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support services to ensure holistic care for residents
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a group home or similar setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is a plus
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
