Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hearing Aid Technician to join our innovative team in Dubai, focusing on the intersection of hearing technology and agricultural applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing the lives of individuals with hearing impairments while also understanding the unique challenges faced in the agricultural sector. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Hearing Aid Fitting and Maintenance: Conduct fittings for hearing aids and assistive listening devices specifically designed for agricultural environments, ensuring optimal performance and comfort for users.

- Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients in the agricultural sector regarding the use and maintenance of hearing aids and related technology.

- Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair hearing aids and related devices, ensuring timely and effective solutions to technical issues.

- Client Assessment: Perform comprehensive assessments to understand the specific hearing needs of clients, especially those working in noisy agricultural settings, and recommend suitable devices.

- Education and Training: Educate clients and their families on the proper use, care, and maintenance of hearing aids, as well as the importance of hearing health in agricultural work environments.

- Collaboration: Work closely with audiologists, occupational health professionals, and agricultural specialists to develop tailored solutions that address hearing challenges faced by workers in the agricultural sector.

- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of hearing aids and accessories, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for fittings and repairs.

- Documentation: Accurately document all client interactions, assessments, fittings, and repairs in compliance with company policies and regulations.

- Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest advancements in hearing aid technology and agricultural practices, participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; certification in hearing aid technology or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hearing aid fitting, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong understanding of hearing aid technology and its application in various environments, including agricultural settings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to clients in an accessible manner.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools related to hearing aids.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
