We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Help Desk Manager to join our retail team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the help desk department, ensuring efficient and effective technical support to all retail employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of help desk technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement help desk strategies and procedures to improve overall efficiency
- Monitor help desk performance metrics and ensure targets are consistently met
- Handle escalated technical issues and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address recurring technical issues
- Train and onboard new help desk staff
- Stay up-to-date on the latest retail technology trends and advancements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven track record of successfully managing a help desk team
- Experience working in a retail environment is preferred
- Knowledge of retail-specific software and systems is a plus
