Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Highway Engineer to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and management of highway projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Planning:
- Develop detailed designs for highway systems, including road geometry, drainage, and signage.
- Prepare and review highway alignment studies, traffic studies, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with urban planners and architects to integrate highway designs with overall urban development plans.

2. Project Management:
- Lead and manage highway engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and clients, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress and compliance with engineering standards.

3. Technical Analysis:
- Perform traffic analysis and modeling to optimize highway performance and safety.
- Assess the environmental impact of highway projects and implement mitigation measures as necessary.
- Utilize engineering software and tools for simulations, designs, and analysis.

4. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all designs and projects comply with local regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports to regulatory bodies for approvals and permits.

5. Research and Development:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in highway engineering and infrastructure development.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and innovative solutions in highway design and construction.

6. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical matters and project execution.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in highway engineering or related infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic modeling tools.
- Strong knowledge of local and international highway design standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
