Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Operations Program Manager to oversee and enhance the operational efficiency of our hotel properties with a focus on energy sustainability and management. This role will be pivotal in implementing innovative programs that align with our commitment to reducing energy consumption and promoting sustainable practices within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development and Management:
- Design, implement, and manage programs aimed at improving operational performance and energy efficiency across all hotel properties.
- Conduct regular assessments of existing operations and identify areas for improvement in energy usage and sustainability practices.

2. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with hotel management teams to integrate energy management practices into daily operations.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and local authorities to identify and implement energy-saving initiatives.

3. Training and Development:
- Develop training programs for hotel staff on energy management best practices and sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct workshops and seminars to raise awareness about the importance of energy efficiency within the hospitality sector.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze energy consumption data across properties to track progress and identify trends.
- Prepare detailed reports on energy usage and sustainability initiatives for senior management and stakeholders.

5. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local energy regulations and environmental standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and government policies related to energy efficiency and sustainability.

6. Budget Management:
- Assist in the development and management of budgets for energy efficiency projects and sustainability initiatives.
- Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of programs and recommend adjustments as necessary.

7. Customer Engagement:
- Engage with guests and stakeholders to promote the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
- Develop marketing materials to highlight energy-saving initiatives and achievements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in hotel operations or a similar role with a focus on energy management and sustainability.
- Strong knowledge of energy-efficient practices and technologies within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of managing projects and driving operational improvements.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
