Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager Assistant to support the housekeeping operations within our manufacturing facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of the facility. This position requires a strong understanding of housekeeping practices in a manufacturing environment and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Daily Operations: Support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team, ensuring that all staff are trained in proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and use of equipment.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards. Address any issues immediately and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and orders are placed timely.
- Training and Development: Help in the development and implementation of training programs for new and existing staff on housekeeping best practices and safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all housekeeping activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a safe work environment for all employees.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on housekeeping activities, including staff performance, inventory usage, and cleanliness assessments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance and production, to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any specific needs related to the manufacturing processes.
- Customer Service: Assist in maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere within the facility, addressing any concerns or queries from employees and visitors related to housekeeping.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management, facility management, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping or facility management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software is an advantage.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
