We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Import Specialist Assistant to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have experience in import and logistics coordination, with a strong understanding of customs regulations and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Import Specialist in coordinating the import of construction materials and equipment
- Communicate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
- Coordinate with customs brokers to clear shipments through customs
- Monitor shipment tracking and update stakeholders on delivery status
- Resolve any issues or delays in the import process
- Maintain accurate records of import activities and expenses
- Support the Import Specialist in managing import compliance and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- [X] years of experience in import coordination, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and import documentation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and import software systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to work
- Knowledge of UAE import regulations and procedures is preferred
