### Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Import Specialist Assistant to join our dynamic team in the energy sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the importation of goods and materials essential to our operations. This position requires a keen understanding of import regulations, logistics processes, and supply chain management within the energy industry.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Management: Assist in the preparation and processing of import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, and customs declarations to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Customs Coordination: Liaise with customs officials and freight forwarders to facilitate the timely clearance of imported goods. Monitor the status of shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during the customs process.
- Logistics Support: Coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, and internal teams to ensure efficient transportation and delivery of goods. Track and report on shipment statuses to maintain visibility throughout the supply chain.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in import/export regulations and trade policies relevant to the energy sector. Ensure that all import activities comply with local laws and regulations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of imported goods and contribute to inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and availability of materials.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Input import data into the company's logistics systems and generate reports as required. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the import process.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to imports, providing timely and accurate information to internal teams and external stakeholders.
### Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably within the energy sector.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with customs regulations, import documentation, and logistics processes. Knowledge of the energy industry is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with logistics management software.
