We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Import Assistant to join our team in Dubai. The Import Assistant will be responsible for supporting the import operations of our education-related products and materials. This role will involve coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with import regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate import shipments, including arranging transportation and customs clearance
- Prepare and manage import documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
- Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any shipment delays or issues
- Maintain accurate records of import activities and expenses
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and requirements, including tariff codes and import duties
- Assist in managing import-related queries and issues from internal teams and external partners
- Support the import team in various administrative tasks and projects as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- [Random number] years of experience in import operations, preferably in the education industry
- Knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
