Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee the supply chain and logistics operations for our consumer goods division in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in logistics management, including transportation, inventory management, and warehousing. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers while maintaining the highest levels of service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve service levels for consumer goods distribution.
- Oversee the day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align logistics operations with overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
- Lead and develop the logistics team, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of logistics processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in logistics technology, recommending improvements to enhance operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the consumer goods sector.
- Proven track record of managing logistics operations and optimizing supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
