Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machinist to join our team in Dubai, specializing in the agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and a passion for contributing to innovative agricultural solutions. This role involves operating a variety of machine tools to create precision parts and components that are crucial for agricultural machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to fabricate components efficiently.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop new machining processes and improve existing ones.
- Monitor production processes, adjusting machine settings as necessary to maintain quality standards and meet production targets.
- Maintain accurate records of production, including time spent on jobs and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior machinists and apprentices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in machining or related fields are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience in machining, preferably within the agricultural or manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in operating CNC machines and manual machining equipment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Knowledge of quality control and inspection techniques to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with agricultural machinery and equipment is an advantage.
