### Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Materials Engineer to join our dynamic team in the agriculture sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, testing, and application of materials used in agricultural practices, focusing on sustainability and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in enhancing agricultural productivity through innovative material solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams, including agronomists, product developers, and manufacturing personnel.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Material Development: Design and develop new materials tailored for agricultural applications, such as biodegradable films, eco-friendly fertilizers, and advanced soil amendments.

- Material Testing: Conduct rigorous testing and analysis of materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and performance specifications. Utilize techniques such as tensile testing, thermal analysis, and chemical composition evaluation.

- Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in materials science and agricultural technologies. Lead research initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural materials.

- Collaboration: Work closely with agronomists and farmers to understand material needs and challenges faced in the field. Provide technical support and recommendations for material selection and application.

- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control protocols to ensure the integrity and performance of materials. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes.

- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of experiments, findings, and recommendations. Present results to stakeholders and participate in project meetings.

- Sustainability Practices: Advocate for sustainable practices in material usage and explore opportunities for recycling and waste reduction within agricultural practices.

### Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in materials engineering, preferably in the agriculture sector or related industries.

- Strong understanding of material properties, testing methodologies, and applications in agriculture.

- Experience with biodegradable materials, polymers, and composites is highly desirable.

- Proficient in using engineering software and tools for material analysis and design.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Knowledge of regulations and standards related to agricultural materials and environmental sustainability.
