Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Media Operations Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This position is critical in driving our media strategy within the consumer goods sector, ensuring effective execution and optimization of our media campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of media operations, analytics, and the consumer goods market, and have experience managing cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Media Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to develop integrated media strategies that align with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform media planning and execution.
2. Campaign Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and broadcast.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve desired KPIs.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of media planners and buyers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Facilitate training and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
4. Vendor and Partner Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, agencies, and other partners to maximize media performance and negotiate favorable terms.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and evaluations to ensure partner alignment with campaign goals.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and measure campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on media effectiveness, budget utilization, and overall campaign performance to stakeholders.
6. Budget Management:
- Manage and allocate media budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and return on investment.
- Monitor spend against budget and provide forecasts and updates to senior management.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product development, sales, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between media strategies and overall business goals.
- Participate in regular cross-departmental meetings to communicate media insights and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in media operations, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of media planning tools, analytics platforms, and industry trends.
- Proven track record of managing successful media campaigns with measurable outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
