Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Lab Technician to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare initiatives within the energy sector. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can perform a variety of laboratory tests, maintain equipment, and ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses on biological specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning properly.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new testing procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze test results and communicate findings to physicians and healthcare providers promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory tests and results, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the reliability of test results.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support health initiatives within the energy sector.
- Stay updated with advancements in laboratory techniques and technologies through continuous education and training.
- Participate in training and mentoring junior lab staff as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Valid certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), National Credentialing Agency (NCA), or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience as a Medical Lab Technician in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting.
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Proficient in the operation of laboratory equipment and technology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
